The fitness testing of these vehicles will be done only by ATS (Automated Testing Stations). Although this will be mandatory from April 1, 2023. By June 1, 2024, medium goods vehicles, medium passenger vehicles, and light motor vehicles will undergo fitness testing services. This has been made compulsory by the government in the stirring road accidents in the country. The government has set up duration for each category of vehicle to undergo the ATS fitness testing procedure in India. In near future, the ATS will be mandatory for all categories of vehicles.

How Automated vehicle Fitness Testing will work?
